Personal Development Coaching is training or development in which a coach helps an individual achieve specific goals.
Nakul’s personal coaching is transformational and helps individuals make revolutionary changes in direction and purpose, break through sabotaging patterns and overcome personal limitations.
This happens when old patterns of thinking and behaviour change at not only a conscious level, but with the help of trusted and safe NLP techniques they change at a deeper, unconscious level leading to lasting change.
Coaching is a working alliance aimed at helping you achieve what you want, so you can focus on what matters to you.
You can expect to put aside quality time for coaching sessions, when you can give yourself your best attention without urgency or distraction.
For Nakul, it means thinking carefully about what ideas and strategies you might find helpful, and how to make them work for you.
Coaching can be suitable for you if…
- You are feeling stuck and can’t seem to get out of a rut.
- You have searched for solutions to your problem but haven’t really got the results you want.
- You’ve got some results but find the problems keep coming back.
- You are ready to make a change in your life and to make it a priority.
Nakul has helped people from all walks of life: children (age 6+), teenagers, university students, employees, business people, lawyers, sports people, professional musicians and film makers, law enforcement officers, parents and many more. Any person can benefit from coaching!
The easiest way to find out is to send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Nakul with your specific enquiry and he will provide you with a quick answer.
The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM-5) includes over 450 definitions of mental disorders, and Nakul regularly works with a wide range of issues such as anxiety, allergic reactions, dyslexia, PTSD, moodiness, phobias, chronic pain, panic, sleep problems and more.
He does not work with certain types of personality disorders, substance abuse and hypersexual disorders.
A coaching session involves understanding what you are after (your outcomes) and then guiding you through easy-to-follow steps to achieve them.
Often Nakul will ask you to describe how you are getting the results you are already getting, and also how you are not getting the results you want.
Nakul will help you develop more useful strategies for getting what you want using a combination of your natural abilities and learned skills. You may be pleasantly surprised at the ease with with you can make long lasting changes!
You can expect to overcome the issues you are currently facing and develop a mindset of success. This can lead to emotional freedom, a greater sense of clarity and focus, and a feeling of taking back control in your life and being in charge of yourself and your experience.
To achieve this, you can expect to actively participate in the process, and take on board the agreed actions to achieve your outcomes.
You can expect to experience positive changes both at a conscious level and at a deeper, more significant unconscious level.
A coaching programme begins with a 2-hour initial session, followed by a 1-hour session every week or two weeks.
In most cases 3-4 sessions are all you need to achieve your outcomes. Depending on the number and type of outcomes you’re after, more sessions may be needed. For example…
- Help with sleeping better or overcoming stage fright may take 2-3 sessions.
- Help with career direction may take 4-6 sessions.
- Help with addressing several issues may take more than 6 sessions.
As a general guide, approximately 50% of Nakul’s personal coaching clients achieve their outcomes within 3-4 sessions. 25% within 5-6 sessions, and 25% within 6+ sessions.
Note: These examples are provided to give you a sense of your time and investment, individual results vary and specific outcomes may not occur.
To find out how many sessions you may need to resolve your issues, call Nakul on 021 883-860 or fill out an enquiry form and he will get back to you.
Once we discuss your needs and you book your first session, you will receive an email with more information about how our coaching arrangement works, details about fees and mutual agreements that ensure you get the results you want. Information about your session time and date, and location will also be provided.
Nakul sees clients in person at his offices at Herne Bay, Kingsland and Howick in Auckland. He also does face-to-face online sessions with clients world wide via Skype. These work just as well as meeting in person. The main requirements are a good internet connection (regular broadband is sufficient) and a distraction-free setting.
While this rarely happens, after one session if you do decide that coaching is not for you, you can request a full refund of your fees, which will be provided to you.
For some people, signing up for a package of 6 or 12 sessions feels more appropriate. Others prefer to go one session at a time. From Nakul’s point of view, it doesn’t make a difference as long as you are up for working towards getting the outcomes you want and are satisfied with your results.
NLP is short for Neuro-Linguistic Programming, which is scientific lingo for wising up and changing how you react to any situation.
Neuro: The nervous system which runs through the brain and body, allowing you to experience the world by seeing, hearing, feeling, smelling and tasting.
Linguistic: The way you use language to give meaning to your experiences and communicate to yourself and others.
Programming: Your individual, unique way of creating habits and patterns of behaviours.
NLP provides a powerful toolkit to help you make positive changes in your life.
NLP uses the power of the human brain and the conscious and unconscious mind. People apply NLP techniques to understand how they are getting their current results.
With the help of a coach they then let go of the patterns, beliefs and behaviours that are not serving them well. They create new choices that work better for them, and integrate these in to their daily life.
The changes are made at a deeper, unconscious level which ensure they are long lasting.
NLP is used by famous people such as Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, Oprah Winfrey, 12-time Grammy winner Pharrell Williams, investor Warren Buffet, tennis champion Andre Agassi, 3-Michelin star chef Heston Blumenthal, and motivational trainer Tony Robbins to name just a few.
Millions of others around the world have experienced its benefits in diverse fields such as business, healthcare, education and sport.
